We all know action verbs (called also dynamic verbs) very well. They tell us what action a person, animal, force of nature or object can do. In other words, these verbs play an essential role in grammar and show the reader what action the subject performs in the sentence.
There is a plenty of action verbs in the English language:
ask, come, dream, eat, fall, go, help, jump, laugh, make, open, read, sing, think, wait, etc.
Of course, in one sentence there can be more than one action verb. They can be used both in the simple and continuous form.
