Perfect Tenses Passive

The noteworthy parts of the Perfect Tenses Passive are the forms has/have or had and the been form.
As we know the Perfect Tenses Passive can be present or past.

Present Perfect

Subject + HAS/HAVE + BEEN + Past Participle (+ by...)

Examples:  

  • This delicious apple cake has been baked by my aunt.
  • The sandwiches have been prepared for the party.

Past Perfect

Subject + HAD + BEEN + Past Participle (+ by...)

Examples:

  • Unfortunately, the cake had been eaten before I came.
  • All the invitations had been handed by Jake before I asked him to do it.
